It is difficult for me to believe that in mere weeks my little 2.5lb miracle baby, Brooke, will be starting school. Okay, it is preschool and only 2 and half hours a day...but still...it's school. There will be a little yellow school bus to pick her up every morning and bring her home every day just before lunch. I think she'll get a kick out of it.
I hope she enjoys the bus. We live within walking distance of the school. If she doesn't like the bus, it's no big deal. Mom, dad, and/or Nana (and Brandon) or some combination in between can walk her to school.
Brooke will be just 3.5 years old in September. That's pretty little to be going to school. Mommy is a little stressed about the transition. I am sure Brooke will console me. HeeHee. Brooke already knows where her class is. There are colorful animals on the building and everytime we pass the school she says, "There is my class!". A few weeks ago, Brooke was bored and said to me, "Mommy, I ready to go to class", trying to get me to take her there already. I told her she had to wait a little longer before she could go to her class.
Brooke already goes to nursery at church which is two hours long. She really enjoys the activities there and seeing all the children.
