Thanks to Nana's sleuthing and invitation, Brooke went to her very first theatre production of: The Little Mermaid. It was an all girls outing with Nana, Aunt Liz, Mama (me) and cousin Abby. Her dad kept telling her that she was about to go see the "real" little mermaid and she couldn't wait! She loved being involved in something exciting and when the lights dimmed and the music started I looked over to see her move to the very edge of her chair with her eyes opened wide and her mouth gaped open. She was an awe! She loved every minute. When the little mermaid and the prince kissed she asked, "Are they getting married?" all dreamy eyed. The only thing she was confused about was the peculair abscense of Sebastian (because this show was not THE "The Little Mermaid"). She kepted asking, "where's the crab?".
